Port Canaveral Cruise Terminals: Where Does Your Ship Leave From? 🚢
Updated: Sep 9
Cruising from Port Canaveral and trying to figure out which terminal your ship uses?

Port Canaveral currently has seven cruise terminals: 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8 and 10. Many ships typically use the same terminal, but assignments can and do change.
This guide will give you a good idea of where your ship will likely be, along with the cruise terminal addresses, parking information and a few tips for choosing a hotel near Port Canaveral.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: The ships listed below are based on typical and currently scheduled Port Canaveral terminal assignments. Terminal assignments are subject to change, even for ships that normally use the same terminal. Always check your cruise documents, cruise line app or Port Canaveral's cruise schedule before arriving.
📍 CRUISE TERMINAL 1
9050 Discovery RoadCape Canaveral, FL 32920
Ships you'll typically find here:
🚢 Royal Caribbean Utopia of the Seas
🚢 Royal Caribbean Star of the Seas
Terminal 1 is one of Port Canaveral's primary Royal Caribbean terminals and regularly handles some of the largest ships sailing from the port.
Other ships and cruise lines may occasionally be assigned here, so always check your specific sailing.
📍 CRUISE TERMINAL 2
180 Christopher Columbus DriveCape Canaveral, FL 32920
Terminal 2 isn't currently the regular home terminal for one of Port Canaveral's major homeported cruise ships.
You may see a ship assigned here depending on the port schedule, but don't head to Terminal 2 unless your cruise information directs you there.
📍 CRUISE TERMINAL 3
220 Christopher Columbus DriveCape Canaveral, FL 32920
Carnival ships you'll typically find here:
🛳️ Carnival Mardi Gras
🛳️ Carnival Glory
🛳️ Carnival Venezia
🛳️ Carnival Festivale, expected beginning in 2027
Terminal 3 is Carnival's large terminal on the south side of Port Canaveral and was built to accommodate Carnival's Excel-class ships.
Carnival's newest Excel-class ship, Carnival Festivale, will begin sailing year-round from Port Canaveral in 2027. She is expected to use Terminal 3, but specific terminal assignments should still be confirmed once Port Canaveral publishes those schedules.
🏨 Staying Near Terminal 3?
If you're sailing from Terminal 3, there are a couple of especially convenient hotel options nearby.
Holiday Inn Express Cape Canaveral by IHG is located on Shorewood Drive right near the Terminal 3 area. Holiday Inn Club Vacations Cape Canaveral Beach Resort is also nearby. Both are walkable to terminal 3.
If you'd rather stay along Astronaut Boulevard, you'll find several more pre-cruise hotels just a short drive from the port.
📍 CRUISE TERMINAL 5

🚢 Royal Caribbean ships
🚢 Norwegian Cruise Line ships
🚢 Other ships depending on the day's schedule
Terminal 5 is one of Port Canaveral's more flexible terminals. Ships such as Adventure of the Seas and Explorer of the Seas have been scheduled here, but assignments can vary considerably.
🚧 Terminal 5 Construction
Terminal 5 is undergoing a major renovation and expansion in 2026. The terminal is remaining operational during construction, with completion currently planned for December 2026.

Carnival ships you'll typically find here:

However, Terminal 6 isn't exclusively Carnival. Other cruise lines can be assigned here depending on the day's schedule.
🚗 New Parking at Terminal 6
Port Canaveral is constructing a new 13-story parking garage adjacent to Terminal 6 with approximately 3,700 additional parking spaces.
If you've sailed from Terminal 6 before, don't be surprised if things look a little different during your next visit.
📍 CRUISE TERMINAL 8

Disney ships you'll typically find here:
🚢 Disney Treasure
🚢 Disney Fantasy, depending on the sailing
Terminal 8 is the terminal most people associate with Disney Cruise Line, but here's an important tip: Don't assume Disney automatically means Terminal 8. Disney ships can also sail from Terminal 10. Check your specific sailing before putting the terminal address into your GPS.
📍 CRUISE TERMINAL 10
9005 Charles Rowland DriveCape Canaveral, FL 32920
Ships you'll commonly find here:

🚧 Terminal 10 Expansion
Port Canaveral began a major expansion and renovation of Terminal 10 in 2026. The expanded terminal is being designed to accommodate some of the industry's largest cruise ships, with the project expected to continue into 2027.
🚗 A-SIDE VS. B-SIDE TERMINALS
Here's a Port Canaveral detail that's really helpful when you're driving to the port.
A Terminals / North Side – Exit 54A
Terminals 5, 6, 8 and 10
B Terminals / South Side – Exit 54B
Terminals 1, 2 and 3
Knowing which side of the port you need can save you from taking an unnecessary tour of Port Canaveral with a car full of luggage.
🔎 HOW DO I KNOW WHICH CRUISE TERMINAL I HAVE?
Even if your ship normally uses the same terminal every week, check again for your sailing.
Before leaving for Port Canaveral:
✅ Check your cruise documents or boarding information
✅ Check your cruise line's app or website
✅ Check Port Canaveral's current cruise schedule
✅ Watch the electronic signs as you enter the port
☀️ LOCAL TIP
Once you're inside Port Canaveral, follow the signs for your SHIP NAME rather than simply following your cruise line.
That's especially important on busy cruise days when the same cruise line may have more than one ship in port.

☀️ LOCAL HOTEL TIP
Don't choose your hotel based only on which terminal your ship normally uses.
Port Canaveral is compact enough that many hotels in Cape Canaveral are convenient to all of the cruise terminals, and your terminal assignment could change anyway.
Instead, think about what matters most for your trip. Do you want to be as close to the port as possible? Would you rather stay near the beach? Do you need a hotel that offers cruise parking or transportation?
Check current hotel rates and availability for your cruise dates below.
🚘 PARKING AT PORT CANAVERAL
If you're parking directly at your cruise terminal, Port Canaveral's official parking garages and surface lots are located adjacent to the cruise terminals, so you don't need a shuttle from the official port parking areas.
As of 2026, official cruise parking is $20 per day plus tax, including both your arrival and departure days. Parking is paid when you arrive, and Port Canaveral does not accept cash for cruise parking.
Embarkation parking areas do not open before 10:00 AM.
Parking rates and policies can change, so check Port Canaveral's current information before your cruise.
☀️ SAVE THIS BEFORE YOUR CRUISE
You don't need to memorize Port Canaveral's terminals before your vacation. Just know where to check.
Terminal assignments can change, so confirm yours shortly before embarkation day and then watch for your ship's name on the signs as you enter the port.
I live local to Port Canaveral, and once you understand how the terminals are laid out, getting to your ship is actually pretty easy.
